Open the File and Coordinate
- Once your file has been opened, it will be assigned to one of our expert Global Mobility Specialists, who will contact you shortly afterwards to introduce themselves.
Airport Pickup
- The assignee and their family can be met at the airport by our Global Mobility Specialist and accompanied to their accommodation.
Neighborhood Focus Tour
- In order to give our assignees an idea of the different neighborhoods that they can choose from based on their housing, work, and school requirements, we escort them to see several potential neighborhoods to choose from.
House Search
- Soon after your file has been opened, your Global Mobility Specialist will send you a property analysis form to better understand your needs, requirements, and budget. Based on this information, a property search program will be put together that contains properties that correspond to the information that you provided in the form.
Property Contract Negotiation
- A member of our in-house legal team will review your property lease to make sure that it is in accordance with Italian law and that it serves your best interests.
Property Check-In
- This is an essential part of the relocation process. One of our Global Mobility Specialists meets with the assignee and owner of the property to inspect the state of the apartment or house and catalog all its contents, taking note of any existing damage. This process will assist in obtaining the deposit smoothly.
360° Settling-In Services
- As part of the relocation process, we assist the assignee with any services that they may require to make their relocation more comfortable. Such services include cable or satellite TV, car or house insurance, and language courses.
Set-Up Utilities
- Your Global Mobility Specialist will take care of setting up all the major utilities, such as gas, electric, and phone, which includes an ADSL line.
Open a Bank Account
- We assist the assignee in opening a bank account in their name.
Garbage Tax
- This is a very important tax to pay in Italy, and your Global Mobility Specialist will coordinate this.
Vehicle Purchase or Leasing
- Your Global Mobility Specialist will also assist you with the purchase or lease of a vehicle.
Additional Concierge Hours of Assistance
- You can decide how you would like to utilize these additional hours. E.g., shopping or assistance with any challenges you may encounter.
Italian Tax Code
- This is the equivalent of the UK’s National Insurance Number or the USA’s Social Security Number and is essential for working and living in Italy.
Medical Card
- Even if you have private medical insurance, it is strongly recommended that you also enroll in the Italian National Health Service in order to have a family doctor and receive free or reduced prescriptions.
International Schools
- Your Global Mobility Specialist will plan and arrange accompanied visits to international schools that meet your needs and requirements.
150-Day Telephone Assistance
- You will also have a period of 150 days from the time you move into your new home in which you can call your Global Mobility Specialist for assistance with light issues. Any assistance requiring face-to-face time with a Global Mobility Specialist will be billed as an extra service.
